Metabo HPT is the new brand name for Koki Holdings America – formerly part of the Hitachi group as of October 2018. Same tools, only with a new name in North America. They continue to build off a foundation of over 70-years engineering history, earning our reputation on the success of our pneumatic nailers and sliding compound miter saws.
In April 2017, Metabo HPT’s parent company in Japan, Koki Holdings Co, Ltd., partnered with KKR, a leading global investment firm. Moving onward, they transitioned to Metabo HPT in North America. Same tools, new name- that’s all. Metabo HPT claims to be the leading pneumatic brand in North America.
